COVID-19 Modeling Consortium
Since April 2020, Dr. Jagpreet Chhatwal has led a multi-institutional COVID-19 modeling consortium (www.covid19sim.org) that aims to inform several time-sensitive policy decisions around management and mitigation of COVID-19 in the U.S. The consortium is funded by research grants from the National Science Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Gorton and Betty Moore Foundation.
NAFLD Simulator Tool
NAFLD Simulator is an interactive, open-access tool that provides information on the short- and long-term risks associated with NAFLD and NASH. It provides patients and providers individualized risk predictions based on person’s risk and demographic factors. The Simulator also aims to increase the awareness of NASH by providing data on mortality and long-term consequences of NASH.
HepCorrections Collaboration
HepCorrections represents a collaboration of academics, public health practitioners and advocates interested in the elimination of hepatitis C disease in the United States. The goal of this website is to provide “best estimates” of hepatitis C in key populations of the United States, starting with the most current estimates of the prevalence of hepatitis C antibody positivity among persons serving time in state prison systems.
Hep C State Policy Simulator
Hepatitis C elimination: In partnership with the CDC, Dr. Jagpreet Chhatwal developed an interactive policy modeling tool, the Hep C State Policy Simulator (www.hepcsimulator.org/), that allows policymakers from each state to evaluate the feasibility of hepatitis C elimination at the state level. The findings of the Simulator were instrumental in the removal of hepatitis C treatment restrictions in multiple states.
Hep C Elimination Tool
Hep C Elimination Tool aims to provide guidance on how HCV elimination targets can be achieved in a given region or country and what is the cost of eliminating HCV. Because of several changing dynamics – such as changes in drug prices, changing HCV prevalence and incidence – Hep C Elimination tool is designed to provide up-to-date information about the disease burden and the return on investment expected with scaling-up HCV treatment.
Hep C Calculator
Hep C Calculator is an interactive tool developed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of DAAs for the treatment of HCV globally. The tool utilizes a mathematical model to simulate the life course of HCV-infected populations in 28 countries (considered as priority countries by the World Health Organization).
Hepatitis C Testing Calculator is an interactive tool designed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different testing pathways for hepatitis C. The tool uses a mathematical model to simulate HCV disease progression. Users can input custom testing pathways and the cost-effectiveness of each pathway is calculated.
